GringZing (gringzing.app) is a song book and setlist app for singers and musicians. It is run by Laizer Rosenbaum, Chicago, Illinois, USA. This page explains, in plain words, what information the app keeps and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address and your name. If you sign in with Google (when that option is available), we receive your name and email address from Google, and nothing else from your Google account.
• Your password: if you sign up with email and password, we store only a secure hash of it, never the password itself.
• What you make in the app: your song lists, labels, events and plans, notes, keys, and songs you suggest for the song book.
• Live and shared events: people you invite with a share link or a 6-digit Live code can see and change that event. They don't need an account, and we don't collect information about them beyond the changes they make.
• Basic technical logs: like any website, our hosting keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

Only to run GringZing: to sign you in, save and sync your lists and events, run Live, and answer you when you write to us. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't share your information with anyone except the services that host and run the app.

Cookies

We use one sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. Your device also remembers a few settings, such as English or Hebrew, dark mode, and a copy of the song book so the app works offline. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Payments

When paid Pro plans are offered, payments are handled by a payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account and what you've made until you delete it. To delete your account and all of your lists and events, email info@gringzing.app from your account's email address, and we'll confirm when it's done.

Children

GringZing is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
